This series of small paintings is based on my photographs* of buildings designed by my architect father in the 1960's-70's. The oil and pencil renderings on linen canvases are partially overlaid with tracing paper printed with images of my father from when he was practicing in a coastal town on the island of Borneo.

(*except for the REDIFFUSION Building and the LIDO CINEMA Building, which were taken by my father)

Three of these paintings were included in a group exhibition at the North Vancouver Community Arts Council and part of the Capture Photography Festival in Vancouver, 2018.
